4. We don't have a fleet of trucks, because we sub-contract all of our work to highly trained, licensed companies. In fact it's possible that you could even get Metropolitan as one of our sub-contractors.

5. We don't have a large warehouse or a purchasing department. We buy most of our materials directly from Metropolitan, that way we can supply you with the same high quality materials that you selected in Metropolitan's showroom.

Because Metropolitan expends all the cost up front, at no charge to their potential customers, for their highly experience estimators that come to your home and develop the scope of work, their top notch designers that guide you through the material selection process, not to mention the costs associated with their beautiful, fully staffed showrooms.

When you as their potential customer do not buy the project, all that work and expense is for nothing. By selling that work to us, Metropolitan can recoup a small part of that expense and 2nd Chance Bath gets all of that work for a fraction of the cost to produce it.

As a general rule, you must stay with the exact specifications that were developed with Metropolitan because we do not have the facilities or the sales staff to make any significant changes. Some minor changes may be possible on a case by case basis, provided they do not require the services of a designer or estimator.

Yes, in fact, part of our agreement with Metropolitan is that we must purchase most of the materials for your project from Metropolitan. That way Metropolitan earns a small margin on the materials and we do not need to have a large warehouse and purchasing staff. Another way we save on our overhead. That also assures that you actually received the same high quality materials that you selected through Metropolitan, not cheaper look alikes.

No, because we have a 30+ year relationship working with Metropolitan and we are 100% confident in their experience and expertise in developing, designing, and creating accurate specifications for their bath remodeling work. When working off of Metropolitan specifications we rarely, if ever, run across unexpected surprises. Their pricing is consistent, thorough and accurate. We would not have the same confidence working with any other contractor.

Metropolitan Bath and Tile has a reputation for having the most highly skilled mechanics in the bathroom remodeling industry. All of Metropolitan's mechanics go through a 5 year apprenticeship program to learn all the trades necessary to build a superior bathroom. The majority of our sub- contractors were trained by Metropolitan and Metropolitan is also one of our sub-contractors as well.

It is possible that you may even get Metropolitan as your contractor, however we cannot promise that. But, we can promise that the bathroom that we build would make Metropolitan proud!

Their warranty is up to 10 years on most of the materials that they install, and Metropolitan has a policy of standing behind their work for as long as they feel the work should last. I've seen them redo work 25 years later at no charge to the customer, if they feel the product should not have failed yet.

Our warranty at 2nd Chance Bath Renovation is one year parts and labor, which is standard In the contracting industry. However you will be getting the same quality of materials and craftsmanship from 2nd Chance as you would have gotten from Metropolitan, so logic would dictate that the work should last just as long.
